What’s with this blog?

Welcome to ‘theresourcehound‘ blog! This blog was created in 2011 after I commenced an online professional development called the Personal Learning Network which was run by the State Library of Victoria. This was all about learning to use technology to enhance classrooms (and our own lives I guess). I discovered very early on that I needed a place where I could share; reflect on and ‘store’ the things I was discovering. And so ‘theresourcehound’ was born. Here you will find information about web 2.0 tools; great websites and other people’s blogs that I have found to be of interest. I hope you find something useful here – feel free to comment.

This blog is specifically aimed at secondary teachers. To help you find what you are looking for scroll to the bottom of the home page and you will see a drop down box called ‘categories’. Select the subject you are interested in and it will show you all the posts I have made that might be useful for that topic. The site is a work in progress and I add to it all the time. To be notified when I post simply subscribe and you will recieve an email every time I post.
